You never truly marvel upon the gifts bestowed
until you abandon it for something
perceived as, better and greater.
My great nation you are but a speck in the blue wilderness we call the ocean, created by years
of oceanic and tectonic shifts. Yet who do we thank for our wonderful topography and luscious
tropical vegetation, which I might add pales in comparison to you. Me!
The people of the
Philippines. We are Versuasions-Philippines.
Here standing tall among the
great Asian nations of the world, we are the hidden treasure of the
Pacific Ocean. Remember though if
you look hard enough what is sought through time and
patience proves to be vast
jewels, spreading like grains of sand along the beaches of Buena Vista
Island.
There's this adage that blood is thicker than
water, but in our case we must disagree
because the water which creates
our luminary worthy nation, bonds our resilience, our love and
social awareness. We are aware!
Although it seems the rest of the world needs to catch up and
recognize our contribution.
Research, to a degree has shown that we are
the "texting" nation of the world. Which
demonstrates three things.
1. Our democracy
2. The level by all accounts how
we manifest our thoughts and efforts in technology.
3. We are a tremendous social
people communicating in ways that outlines our compassion for
societal woes but more
importantly our deliverance, as opportunity abounds around us.
What exactly is our deliverance? Unity.
Nothing simply can stop us. A Typhoon tried.
Politicians hoped. Wars attempted. We are
an emotional, humane people. The
world should consider our mantra and use it as a point of
reference constitutionally.
